Hayley Carlson is the User Engagement Specialist with the Integrated Modelling for Canada’s Major River Basins (IMPC) project. She has a BSc. in Environmental and Conservation Sciences from the University of Alberta with a focus on the human dimensions of environmental management. Her Public Policy Master’s research focused on the stories irrigation farmers, environmental organizations, indigenous groups and industry representatives tell about water in the Saskatchewan River Basin, and how these stories may influence decision-making about water. She has experience working with local stakeholders around water, including the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and the Saskatchewan Environmental Society, a provincial non-profit focused on sustainability.
