Razi received his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, from University of Tabriz in 2011 and got his M.Sc. degree in Hydraulic Structures from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), Iran, in 2013. He joined the Global Institute for Water Security in 2015 to pursue a Ph.D. through the School of Environment and Sustainability. He is extremely interested in the broad area of understanding the main mechanisms that control the stability and resilience of complex systems. He has an active interest in application of the advanced optimization methods, particularly metaheuristics, to difficult real-world problems in a variety of application areas. In addition, he has a strong interest and passion for research in the field of Environmental and Water Resources Systems Modeling.
